Michael Eagar

Senior Financial Advisor

I first developed an interest and passion in finance when I moved to Connecticut (USA) to pursue a university degree on a sporting scholarship. The more I got to know the place, the more fascinated I became with the state’s glamour and wealth. These feelings of excitement were further embedded when I visited New York City and got to experience the buzz and charm of this iconic city.

My journey into financial planning was also expanded through a close friend of mine in New Zealand. As an experienced financial adviser, he gave me a greater understanding of the role and additional insight into the world of financial advice. Most importantly, I came to know that financial advice was not simply about finance but also about people and assisting them through their life goals.

At present, I am a Certified Financial Planning Adviser and I hold a degree in Master of Financial Planning at Deakin University and a degree in Bachelors of Commerce (Finance and Financial Planning) at Griffith University.

I love hearing people’s stories of where they’ve been, what motivates them and where they want to get to in life. I’m also very interested in personal investments in equities, in particular small caps, and wealth accumulation.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. I’m from New Zealand and my partner is from Peru, we have two beautiful young daughters named Ariana and Mia. Outside work and time with family, you will find me either playing soccer or watching sports – most vocally when supporting The Arsenal, Geelong Cats and the All Blacks.

Lets Talk.
